Instructions for Reading Aprenda 2 Multiple Choice Data with Microsoft Excel Macro

1. Copy the correct year file to your computer and open it.
   ImportAprenda98.xls(1999 administration)
2. If prompted, choose ENABLE MACROS.
3. Go to File/Open and open the Aprenda data file.
4. The import wizard will come up. Choose " and hit the NEXT button.
5. Uncheck "tab" and hit NEXT again.
6. Select TEXT and hit the FINISH button. This imports the data into one row of the spreadsheet.
7. Go to the Tools Menu and select Macro. Highlight the ImportAprenda98.xls!aprenda2import name and then click on Run. The file should be broken up with the variables names listed across the top.
8. Choose SAVE AS from the file menu. Choose TYPE: CSV (COMMA DELIMITED). You now have a that can be imported into QSP.
9. When importing data please make sure that the data is in the correct year as regulated by your school.
